Unlike the rural setting of the animal barn we had just completed, this dumpster surround was located on Lake Street in Minneapolis. It's actually quite nice to be able to visit a variety of places in our beautiful metro area.

We tore out the old wooden structure and replaced it with concrete blocks. Because the blocks require a more solid footing, we tore up the old concrete slab and replaced it with a new one which was considerably thicker around the perimeter.

The combination of the tan Split Rock blocks along with the natural cedar gates gives the surround a warmer, less institutional feel. The project turned out well, and most important, our customers were happy.
